Q: I will upgrade to Windows 10. However, I want to play the DVR-MS files that I record. I can play them in Windows Media Player in Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center, but how to play DVR files in Windows 10? It only plays sound without video. By the way, is there a method to compress DVR-MS files? I want to convert them to regular MPG or WMV files, if possible lower resolution too. Also, is there a way to cut/edit them?
