How to Convert .xej to .mp4
A .xej project file contains encoder setup information and is not a real video file. Captured videos are saved as .xesc files that can be converted to WMV or MP4 using the Expression Encoder transcoding utility. The following instruction describes how to convert XEJ (a captured .xesc file) to MP4:
Step 1: Launch the XEJ to MP4 converter and open a transcoding project. Click on File in the menu bar and select Import… to load the screen capture file.
Step 2: Click on Encode on the right side of the interface and then select MP4 under the Output Format pull-down menu.
Step 3: Expand the video options and set as required. Use the Output tab to identify a location to save the encoded file.
Step 4: Finally, click Encode to start to convert XEJ to MP4.
Tips: For those who want to convert .xej to .wmv, just click Encoding for Devices and then select WMV in step 2.
