Q: I edited a video with DaVinci Resolve, but I can't save my editing to MP4 (or something like that). It only saved to a .drp file. This file will not upload to YouTube and isn't supported by any other program I have. I used a video converter but it didn't work either. Please help!
A: DaVinci Resolve is a professional and powerful one-stop editing software, including video editing, color correction, visual effects and audio post production. The DRP file represents the DaVinci Resolve Project. As its name suggests, it is exclusively for DaVinci Resolve and is not a real video file. It does not store actual data of video and audio. It is just a reference file to the video and audio files and settings information. As a result, it cannot be opened or converted by any third-party tool. In other words, in addition to DaVinci Resolve, other so-called DRP to MP4 converters are scams. The following article will detail how to export DaVinci Resolve to MP4.
