SoundClick is a free music portal that brings together musicians, artists and audiences. You're able to stream music, buy or sell beats, albums and creative music production. And, is it possible to download SoundClick tracks as digital MP3 files to local drive? Definitely! In the next part, you'll learn 4 different methods to fulfil your needs.
SoundClick is an old music streaming website that has existed in my browser bookmarks for many years. It was founded in 1997 and is still around. Although it is not as well-known as SoundCloud, Audiomack, Mixcloud, Reverbnation and other websites of its kind, I always discover quite a few breath-taking songs and beats on it. Here, the streaming MP3 sound quality has reached up to 160kbps, which is indeed higher than most other similar sites. Not only that, you can easily download those MP3 files for offline listening, so I've compiled four simple methods below without any software installed.
The methods provided below are ONLY demonstrated for personal fair use. SoundClick is one of my favorite free MP3 download websites, which allows you to browse and stream a wide variety of music well categorized by charts, genres and fresh playlists.
Step 1. Visit https://www.soundclick.com/default.cfm, you're allowed to search by name, genre or tag, or just run over the curated charts, albums, playlists if you haven't got a clue.
Step 2. On the search result page, you'll find that most music offers the direct download buttons at the end of each track or shown on the embedded player on the bottom.
Step 3. To your surprise, some paid promotion even offers free 320kbps MP3 downloads for audition. Simply hit the download button to save SoundClick MP3s.
Note: This method is officially offered to download from SoundClick legally as long as a download button is available. What if there is no download button? You may turn to the following 3 nonconventional means. Again, DO NOT download copy-righted licensed tracks for any illegal activity.
With the help of built-in developer tools of Chrome and Firefox, you're able to download all royalty-free MP3 files, even for those paid music.
Step 1. Go to a SoundClick chart, playlist or song page.
Step 2. Press F12 on your keyboard, and then play the track.
Step 3. Navigate to "Network" tab and click on "Media" subtab, you'll see the MP3 download link as shown in the screenshot below. If there is nothing, press F5 to refresh the page and play the track again.
Step 4. Right click on the link and select "Open in new tab" option to download SoundClick to MP3.
Video DownloadHelper is a must-have free browser extension that helps conveniently download video/music files when you're streaming the content online. It also applies to SoundClick MP3 download.
Step 1. Install the extension to your browser via http://www.downloadhelper.net/install. Now it's available on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. You'll see a colorless three balls icon at the top-right corner of the browser.
Step 2. To ensure it properly functions, restart your browser. Go to SoundClick and play your preferred track.
Step 3. Now the three balls extension will become colored. Just press the icon and select the MP3 option to download.
There are several online SoundClick downloaders that claim to download MP3s, however, very few of them can work properly. TubeOffline is a long-standing and credible website for SoundClick MP3 download. Meanwhile, it also works for other popular online streaming video/music websites.
Step 1. Go to SoundClick and copy the URL of a song page. Make sure it is in this format: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=XXXXXXXX
Step 2. Visit https://www.tubeoffline.com/download-SoundClick-videos.php, paste the URL into the box and press "GET MP3" button.
Step 3. After URL analyzing, hit the "DOWNLOAD" button or right click on the button and choose "SAVE LINK AS" option.
